Paystack Payments

Overview

Paystack integration provides support for payments across Africa, including:

• Local cards from Nigerian, South African, and Ghanaian banks
• Bank transfers and USSD payments
• Mobile money from multiple providers

Adding Paystack

1. Navigate to Billing Go to your dashboard → Billing → Payment Methods
2. Select Paystack Click “Add Payment Method” and choose Paystack
3. Enter Card Details
   • Card number
   • Expiry date
   • CVV
   • Cardholder name
4. Verify Complete the 3D Secure authentication

Supported Methods

• Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, Verve
• Bank Transfers: Direct bank debit
• Mobile Money: MTN, Orange, Airtel
• USSD: Bank USSD codes

Paystack payments are:

• PCI DSS Level 1 certified
• Encrypted end-to-end
• Protected by 3D Secure

Paystack vs Stripe

When to use Paystack

• Primarily operating in African markets
• Need local payment methods (mobile money, USSD)
• Want to avoid cross-border fees
• Prefer NGN, ZAR, or GHS billing

When to use Stripe

• Operating globally or outside Africa
• Need 130+ currency support
• Require enterprise features
• Need subscription management

Troubleshooting

Payment Declined

1. Verify card details are correct
2. Check sufficient balance
3. Confirm 3D Secure was completed
4. Contact your bank if issues persist

Pending Verification

Some payments may take 1-2 business days:

• First-time card verification
• High-value transactions
• Cross-border payments
